El pasado mes de agosto, se llevaron a cabos los dos primero tours del edificio (uno para el staff de encuentro y otro virtual con Tu Voz Digital), y es asi que se dio por inaugurados una serie de tours similares que estarán sucediendo en los próximos días con la finalidad de mostrar el nuevo edificio y sus renovaciones a varias de nuestras audiencias. Recordemos que nuestro nuevo hogar está en renovación y actualmente, nos encontramos en procesos de recaudar fondos para continuar con nuestros esfuerzos de mejorar las instalaciones de este edificio que albergará todos nuestros programas. Cabe destacar que ambos tours se llevaron a cabo con el uso de mascarillas.

This past month, the first two tours of the building took place: one for staff and the other virtually with Tu Voz Digital.This is how we established a series of similar tours that will be taking place in the next few months in order to show the new building and its renovations to several of our audiences. Let’s keep in mind that our new home is under renovation and we are currently in the process of raising funds to continue our efforts to improve the facilities of this building that will house all of our programs. It should be noted that we took all covid measures during these tours.

                              iEl staff finalmente conoce las nuevas instalaciones!/The staff finally gets to know the new facilities!

El primer tour se llevó a  cabo el pasado 6 de agosto y fue dado a miembros del staff de Encuentro de la mano nuestra Directora Ejecutiva, Andrea Plaza y Directora de Desarrollo Julia Cusatis. Como primera actividad, se dio un recorrido por las instalaciones y así el equipo pudo trabajar en la visión de qué lugar ocupará cada programa en el edificio. Como parte de las actividades, el staff también  tuvo la oportunidad de “ reclamar el espacio” y escribir las cosas que se desea sucedan dentro de este nuevo hogar. iEs realmente maravilloso formar parte de este pedazo de historia de nuestra organización!.- comento Mayte Lopez, coordinadora del programa de asistente de salud en el hogar.

The first tour took place on August 6 and was given to members of the Encuentro staff by our Executive Director, Andrea Plaza, and Director of Development, Julia Cusatis. As a first activity, a tour of the facilities was given and thus the team was able to work on the vision of what place each program will occupy in the building. As part of the activities, the staff also had the opportunity to “claim the space” and write down the things that they want to happen within this new home. “It is truly wonderful to be a part of this piece of our organization’s history!”-Mayte Lopez said.

El Segundo tour, tuvo lugar el viernes 13 de agosto  y fue transmitido completamente en vivo en nuestro Fb live. Durante este tour virtual, se contó con la participación de miembros del staff, maestros y fue dirigido por nuestro grupo de periodistas comunitario, Tu Voz Digital.

The second tour took place on Friday, August 13 and was broadcast completely live on our Fb live. During this virtual tour, staff members and teachers participated, and it was led by our group of community journalists, Tu Voz Digital.

La transmisión fue llevada a cabo por Ilse Grijalva, nuestra coordindadora de comunicaciones quien interactúo con las más de 40 personas presentes en el enlace mientras Andrea Plaza, Julia Cusatir, nuestra coordinadora del programa de Asistente de Salud en el Hogar, Mayte Lopez, guiaron el recorrido por las instalaciones a la vez que interactuaba con ambas audiencias. Tu Voz Digital (Marisela Ramirez, Mario Aguilar, Carmen Ruiz, Lucero Tovar, Leslie Padilla y Josefina Gallardo)  jugó un papel muy importante durante este, nuestro primer tour en vivo ya que se dieron a la tarea de capturar el sentir de los presentes quienes respondieron preguntas como: ¿Qué esperas de este nuevo edificio?, ¿Qué es lo que más te emociona de este nuevo edificio? The transmission was carried out by Ilse Grijalva, our communications manager who interacted with the more than 40 people present at the live transmission while Andrea Plaza, Julia Cusatis, and our coordinator of the Home Health Assistant program, Mayte Lopez, guided the tour of the facilities while interacting with both audiences. Your Digital Voice (Marisela Ramirez, Mario Aguilar, Carmen Ruiz, Lucero Tovar, Leslie Padilla and Josefina Gallardo) played a very important role during this, our first live tour, as they undertook the task of capturing the feelings of those present who answered questions such as: What do you expect from this new building?
