We are seeking nominations for six special honorees who will receive Encuentro’s Tree of Life Award at our Tree of Life Luncheon Event this coming April 4th, 2025. This is recognition that symbolizes the connection and power of transformative leaders. These remarkable individuals plant seeds, nurture growth, and play an essential role in Encuentro’s vitality!

We have six six nomination categories:

Roots of Resilience Award -Nurturing the roots that strengthen our immigrant community: Recognizes an individual who has made a lasting impact, demonstrated exceptional leadership, and nurtured the roots of the Latinx immigrant community through initiatives and projects.

Branches of Unity Award – Creating networks of branches that reach out to various sectors: Recognizes an individual or organization that fosters community collaboration, partnerships, and alliances to expand opportunities for Latinx immigrant families.

Fruits of Generosity Award – Honoring contributions that have flourished Encuentro’s growth and sustainability: Recognizes an individual or group that has significantly contributed to resources and funding for Encuentro’s programs and services.

Leaves of Service Award – Celebrating actions that protect and nurture Encuentro’s growth: Recognizes a volunteer or donor who has contributed their time, talents, and treasures to support Encuentro’s work.

Seeds of Change Award – Commemorating advocacy that plants seeds for systems change: Recognizes individuals or groups that drive policy or advocate for systems change to transform the environment in which the Latinx immigrant community thrives.

Blossoms of Innovation Award – Illustrating creativity and forward thinking that blossoms opportunity and growth at Encuentro: Recognizes a community member or group who has introduced innovative approaches to education, community engagement, or program delivery at Encuentro.
